(don't) forget your lunch

Hi! I'm Sam. I don't really cook...I think I just "assemble" food so I really like to make bento! I try to post as much as I can but I disappear for extended periods of time depending on my schedule :) I overwhelm myself sometimes, what can I say?

bento party!

Last Thursday I had some friends over for a bento party, as a kind of post-exam/holiday celebration. It was so much fun! I’m stealing these photos from my friend Hayon, as she brought her beautiful DSLR <3

My lovely friend Lili brought me the cutest cupcake kit. Kittens!

We cut up a lot of carrots. They had fun with my veggie cutters.

And made a huge mess of my kitchen ;)

I taught them how to make rice ball penguins and then set them to work. My friends are so creative! Everyone made such different bentos. I guess I couldn’t have expected anything less from such talented ladies <3
